Wine Pairings for Thanksgiving Turkey

 

Looking for an Indiana wine to go with your Thanksgiving turkey? According to Jeanette Merritt, Marketing Director of the Indiana Wine Grape Council, try traminette. Jeanette explains, “The traminette has nice spicy, floral characteristics that go very well with turkey and all the trimmings. Most of our Indiana traminette's are done in a semi-dry style. Just a touch of residual sugar, but not sweet! If you want a red, go with an Indiana Chambourcin. It's a lighter-style, fruity wine.”
