GOING LOCAL at the MASS AVE WINE SHOPPE
The Mass Ave Wine Shoppe has always been a great place to get local Indiana wine, beer, and food. This week they've got some special local food items on the menu to celebrate GOING LOCAL WEEK 2009. They include:
Local Yokals Platter for 2*
MAWS Good Life Platter*
Cow Pie (mini pizza)*
Tangy Tomato Soup with locally made sofrito (cilantro, olive oil, garlic) and topped with Dukkah (locally made spicy nut mix).
Goat Cheese Pesto Torte featuring house-made Basil Pesto from Mermaid Maryann's garden.
Parmesan Pesto Roasted Red Pepper Creme w/crackers featuring locally made pesto.
All MAWS sandwiches are served on Farmbread Batard-- a sourdough/whole wheat blend with no preservatives made by Scholars Inn Bakehouse in Bloomington. Don't miss out on them!
* featuring meats and cheeses from the Swiss Connection.
